In times of automated text generation, it is important to understand how language and writing functioning as tools. Rarely we do ask ourselves how the carrier medium of information, the latin alphabet, came into being in the first place. The installation makes it possible to read the alphabet "backwards in time" / to explore the development of writing from iconographic signs to abstract characters. 

After all, the letters that surround us every day are the result of historical events that date back millennia and reveal characteristics of language that connect us to the ancient tradition of that time.
